Woodlander Books is an online bookshop experience and hub for book lovers and seekers.
On our shopping pages we have carefully curated shelves for anyone looking for guidance, for an escape, for connection, or for something mystical, intriguing, unusual or unique. We surf the web looking for cool books. We put their pictures and links to the merchant site on these pages. We simply link to them. If more than one merchant carries a certain product, we give preference to affiliates, advertisers and sponsors.

Our Vision
Woodlander will one day be a brick and mortar shop in Vancouver BC. We are working with a two year plan and hope to be opening our doors in October of 2027!
We dream of a bookshop with big couches, a coffee counter selling local goods, a fireplace, a tarot reader in the corner and lots of books stacked everywhere. Heaven!

Sky Bray, Partner, Manager, Web Diva
Woodlander is Sky’s brainchild. Co-Owner of a local web design company, she has worked in the real world in catering, as a web designer, editor and freelance writer and as an events coordinator at Canada’s largest metaphysical bookstore. Sky is a student, initiate & practitioner of folk-medicine and magic (aka shamanism). She’s a trained (TT 250 hrs) yoga practitioner with a personal practice of 20 years. She’s an animist who works in connection and right-relationship with the unseen worlds. She's ecstatic to spend her time writing and researching the interwebs finding the coolest books and inspiration she can to bring to you, dear readers. She writes at the company blog about living by the Wheel of the Year, adventures in re-enchantment and re-discovering spiritual practices here ☞
Keith Larkin, Partner
Keith is Sky’s partner in business and in life. Over the past 25 years together they have been local DJs in Vancouver while raising two fine sons and several generations of cats. Ever the family rock, Keith has worked in the watershed for 20 years and is now looking at new horizons. He’s looking forward to sitting in the cafe, reading his books and hanging out with the dogs. Oh yes, there will be dogs!

We offer our work to your true self, your deeper spirit yearning to come out and come back to the forest. That part of you that you miss but you can’t put your finger on it? That’s your spirit — that place in you where your soul and nature intersect. You know you miss it. I can assure you, Nature undoubtedly, categorically misses you.
We offer our work to the denizens of the natural world - those cousins that we have ignored and forgotten, in this and the Otherworlds. Flora, fauna, devas, elementals. May we humans come back into right-relationship with the planet and all of nature, our Home.
We offer our work to the archetypal Good World - that Narnia; a place of eternal green and roving forests, where the destruction on this earth never happened, and we humans are healthy and well and deeply linked to each other, and to every tree, animal, bird and stone, at the heart.
